Naturopathy

Natural therapists believe that optimal health is not merely the absence of disease but the state where the body is in balance and functions optimally. They contend that diseases arise from deviations from this optimal state, leading to bodily imbalance.

For example, in experiments conducted by medical scientist Chester Southam on cancer, he found that healthy individuals injected with cancer cells were able to combat the cancer with their immune systems. However, when the same experiment was conducted on cancer patients, the cancer cells were able to grow and spread. This suggests that tumors cannot grow when the surrounding tissues are normal; only when the surrounding environment changes to allow for unlimited cancer cell proliferation does the tumor grow. Cancer does not spontaneously occur in undamaged healthy tissues.

Natural therapy is based on the belief that the human body possesses innate self-healing or self-curing abilities. It is not merely about treating symptoms of diseases but about promoting regeneration, repair, and strengthening of healthy tissues around diseased organs through non-toxic and non-invasive therapies to address the root causes of diseases.

An example of such therapy is epigenetic therapy, which involves using extracts from ancient pine trees to achieve self-healing goals. The bristlecone pine is one of the oldest known trees on Earth, capable of surviving in harsh environments and adapting to challenging periods without undergoing mutational aging.

We have developed extracts from bristlecone pine that exhibit potent antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and anti-mutagenic properties. These extracts effectively restore diseased organ peripheral normal tissues to optimal physiological functional states, thereby enhancing the body’s self-healing capabilities with the aim of achieving spontaneous remission.

Background

In 1957, American botanists found a bristlecone pine in California. This tree is special because it has survived for 4,768 years, making it the oldest known tree on Earth. It was named after Methuselah, the biblical figure said to have lived 965 years.

The area where the bristlecone pine grows is surrounded by dolomite, a type of limestone with very few nutrients in its soil. Due to limited sunlight and soil nutrient supply, the growth rate of the bristlecone pine is quite slow. Nevertheless, it survives in extremely harsh environments and is renowned for its longevity.

The width of the bristlecone pine’s annual rings varies, reflecting its ability to cope with difficult periods. During prolonged droughts, for example, the bristlecone pine may enter a “sleeping state”: a bristlecone pine that has been growing for thousands of years will terminate all metabolism until the external environment improves and new cells are regenerated. The bristlecone pine has developed a set of skills to adapt to adverse conditions, such as its needles can survive for 40 years.

Sometimes, the main body of the root has been completely necrotic, and the tree trunk and branches connected to it have also been completely dried by wind erosion, often leaving only a bare tree trunk. But even so, one or two new branches often grow out of the dead wood, which is admirable for its tenacious vitality.

According to the New York Times, more than a dozen pine nuts collected from bristlecone pine have sprouted strong seedlings, and these pine nuts were collected from a bristlecone pine tree that was at least 4,600 years old. Previously, many people doubted whether this tree could still be successfully reproduced. It was unexpected that 100% of the seeds of the old tree germinated and were very robust.

Most species age and die due to genetic mutations. Surprisingly, the bristlecone pine does not undergo this aging process. If it were not for climate change and root exposure to pathogen infestation leading to death, the bristlecone pine could be regarded as an extremely rare perennial species.

American scientists compared the aging biomarkers of bristlecone pines aged 23 to 4,713 years and found that these pines do not undergo mutational aging. Moreover, during their long life, the embryonic, seedling, or mature tree’s meristematic tissue functions did not degenerate. Therefore, the bristlecone pine did not experience the usual aging process of other organisms.

At the molecular level, scientists have found that simple DNA sequences called telomeres at the ends of eukaryotic chromosomes participate in cellular aging processes. The cumulative loss of telomere DNA during repeated cell divisions is considered an activation signal for aging. The length of telomeres is maintained by an enzyme called telomerase.

By comparing the telomere lengths and telomerase activity of bristlecone pines of different ages, scientists have found that increased telomerase activity does not necessarily lead to unlimited cell proliferation and life-threatening effects. On the contrary, organisms like bristlecone pines seem to benefit from increased telomere lengths, avoiding mutational aging and achieving longevity. This suggests that bristlecone pines may contain unique bioactive ingredients that could be used for disease resistance and health preservation.

This has sparked our interest in its potential as a natural therapy ingredient. Bristlecone pines may contain bioactive ingredients that make them immortal. Humans have a long history of using various plants for disease resistance and health protection because they contain specific ingredients that balance the body through epigenetic means, providing beneficial nutrition.

Although there are no reports of bristlecone pines being used for these purposes, we believe it can help humans maintain optimal health and enhance their self-healing capabilities. Our research has found that bristlecone pines do have these abilities, despite their slow growth, low and unstable active ingredient content, making them difficult to extract. After years of experimentation, we have developed a method to prepare bristlecone pine active extracts and preserve them for a long time.

In addition, when we applied this method to other long-lived pine trees, we found similar but lower levels of active ingredients compared to bristlecone pines. Nevertheless, due to the ease of obtaining materials, we can extract a sufficient amount of these ingredients from these other pine trees.

In addition to tumor diseases, the normal microenvironment tissue weakness of other diseases can also cause them to deviate from the optimal functional state, leading to various degenerative, chronic, and autoimmune diseases such as osteoarthritis, chronic cough, allergic rhinitis, childhood eczema, etc.

Our natural therapy is based on the belief that the human body has innate self-healing and self-curing capabilities. Unlike traditional methods that simply treat symptoms, our therapy focuses on promoting regeneration, repair, and strengthening of healthy tissues around disease tissues through non-toxic and non-invasive methods to address the root causes of diseases.

Our system is inspired by the latest cancer research findings. These studies have found that cancer only grows and spreads when surrounding tissues are damaged or abnormal. Healthy surrounding tissues can restrict and inhibit the growth and spread of cancer cells through various biological mechanisms. Therefore, we aim to build an environment of healthy surrounding tissues where cancer cells cannot grow and reproduce.

One of the breakthrough products we have developed is “Oncoshield”. Composed of exclusive ingredients, it supports creating an environment that is unfavorable for the growth and reproduction of abnormal cells. This is a new approach. When surrounding tissues remain normal, they restrict and inhibit the growth and spread of abnormal cells through various biological mechanisms, preventing abnormal cell growth from developing on their own. Certain types of cells and molecular signals are involved. For example, surrounding healthy cells release growth factors and cytokines during tissue damage, promoting tissue repair and regeneration, thereby preventing the growth and spread of abnormal cells. In addition, substances produced by surrounding healthy tissue cells form a natural “barrier” that prevents abnormal cells from spreading to surrounding tissues.

In addition, surrounding tissues can also fight against abnormal cells by activating the immune system. When the body detects abnormal cells, immune cells are activated and attack and eliminate them. The interaction of these biological mechanisms allows surrounding healthy tissues to effectively prevent the growth and spread of abnormal cells, preventing out-of-control abnormal cell growth from developing.
